If you have problems running the demo, particularly if all you get is a big gray box, then the most likely cause is that you need to install (or reinstall) the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). The following is a version known to work with BBCVis2. Keep in mind it is almost certainly not the latest version.
To install the above version of the JRE, download the Java JRE ZIP file and extract it somewhere onto your machine (just about anywhere should work). Then execute the file called "j2re-1_4_2_17-windows-i586-p.exe", this is the Set Up Launcher.
